I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
